Client account, not named
A detailing studio in Deeside, launched on 29 September: the profile before the site, 39 of 40 pages indexed in two days, and the first week
A car detailing studio in Deeside, fifteen minutes from Wrexham, went live with a new site on the evening of 29 September 2026. The client is not named here, by our rule; every line below is from the launch log, the URL inspection records and the site's Search Console. It is published as a launch log rather than a result, because a week is a week, and because the order of the launch is the part most new sites get wrong.

The launch, in order
What happened on which day, and why in that order
| Day | What | Why it was done then |
|---|---|---|
| Before launch | Google Business Profile finished: phone, website, booking link, hours, description, categories, prices and 20 services listed | The profile is what the map and the assistants read; a detailing customer searches “near me” from the car. It earns from the day the site exists |
| Before launch | Search Console property verified, GA4 property live with the quote form sending a lead event | So the first day is measured, not guessed at |
| 29 Sep, evening | Site live: 40 pages, the Cloudflare zone prepared in advance with the cache rules | Prepared earlier so the switch itself was a DNS change, not a build |
| 29 Sep | Independent audit of the live site: five fixes and the schema logo found and deployed the next day | A second pair of eyes on launch day catches what the builder cannot see |
| 1 Oct | URL inspection: 39 of 40 pages indexed; the one unknown URL requested by hand | Bulk resubmission is noise; one URL requested is a signal |
| 1 Oct | The owner's visit: mail app on his phone, Facebook page corrected to the real address and service area | The profile, the site and the social page have to agree, word for word |
| 5 Oct | The share card replaced with a photo card after WhatsApp cropped the words off the first one | The first customers arrive by a link sent from a phone; the card is the first impression |
The first week's searches
The profile earns before the pages do
Seven clicks and 225 impressions in the first days, at an average position of 42.9 across everything, which is a new site being tried on searches it will not win for months. The two clicks that matter came from “car detailing near me” and “car wrapping”, the first at position 4.0 on three impressions, and that is the profile and the map doing the work while the pages settle. The searches that showed and did not click, “1 step paint correction”, “alloy wheel ceramic coating”, are the service pages being discovered, far down, as they should be in week one.
What was left alone: everything. No title changed, no page rewritten, no new page added in the first week. The work in week one was the profile, the fixes from the audit and the one unknown URL. The content work starts at the first monthly read.
Your site, the same way
The free audit runs these measurements before we quote
Search Console, the coverage sweep and a page-by-page crawl are free to repeat on any site. We run them on a Wrexham business before quoting, and you get the numbers whether or not you hire us.
How to read this page
- The client is a real account and is not named; the facts are from its launch log, the URL inspection records and Search Console for the first days.
- Seven clicks and 225 impressions are a first week, not a result. The position for the near-me search rests on three impressions and is quoted only to show the profile is doing its job.
- The next read is at day 35 and again at day 90, and both will be published here.
