Worked example
Worked example: an industrial electrician on Wrexham Industrial Estate, and the pages that a buyer reads
A worked example, labelled as one: we do not yet have a Wrexham Industrial Estate client to publish. The contractor is a composite of the supplier sites we audited for the manufacturing page on this site; the plan is what we would do; the estate figures are the published ones and the reference figure is from a real account on this site, marked where it appears.
The starting point: a six-person industrial electrical contractor in a unit on the estate, work from three regular customers and word of mouth, a one-page site that says “domestic and commercial electricians” with a stock photograph, and a Google profile categorised as a domestic electrician.

The pages, in order
Capability first, the estate second, the public last
| Order | Page | The buyer's question | What goes on it |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Industrial electrical maintenance | Can you keep our line running | Planned maintenance, breakdown response time from your unit, the plant you work on, the shift cover, two case studies |
| 2 | Installation and panels | Can you do the new line | Panel builds, machine installs, testing and certification, the standards you work to, lead times |
| 3 | The estate page | Do you know this place | Which roads and which parts of the estate you serve, response time from your unit, the firms you work for where you may say so, access and hours |
| 4 | Accreditations and insurance | Are you approved, and can I check | Each scheme and standard with the number and the expiry, the insurance levels, linked to the register where one exists |
| 5 | Domestic work, if kept at all | Not a buyer's question | A short page, or none. The site's job is the estate; the public is not the reader |
What changes on the profile
The category, the address and nothing else to chase
The profile's category changes from domestic electrician to the industrial one, the address is the unit on the estate exactly as Royal Mail has it, the services are the industrial ones, and that is all the attention it needs. A buyer on the estate searches the capability, not “near me”, and a reviews routine is effort spent on the wrong reader. The case studies do the proving: the sector, the problem, the fix, the time, named where the customer allows.
The reference for how fast the pages are read is on this site: the removals relaunch had 51 of 56 pages indexed in three days because each page said something the others did not. Five supplier pages that each answer a different question will be read the same way; five copies will not.
What we would expect, labelled as expectation
Small numbers, large value
Capability-plus-Wrexham searches are few, and we would expect the pages to show for them in Search Console within weeks, because almost no supplier on the estate has a page per capability and fewer still have an estate page. Clicks would be small and would stay small; that is the shape of this market. The measure that matters is an enquiry from a firm the contractor has not worked for, with a purchase order behind it, and the contact page would ask where they found you. One new account on the estate pays for the site several times over, and that is the honest scale.
Your site, the same way
The free audit runs these measurements before we quote
Search Console, the coverage sweep and a page-by-page crawl are free to repeat on any site. We run them on a Wrexham business before quoting, and you get the numbers whether or not you hire us.
How to read this page
- The contractor is a composite; no business on the estate is named, described or implied.
- The estate figures are the published ones on Wikipedia; the reference figure is from the removals relaunch published on this site and is marked where it appears.
- The measure is purchase enquiries from firms the contractor has not worked for, counted by asking where they found you.
